I got the car back to my house on friday, and ever since friday Ive been tearing the car apart and cleaning it up. Really, the only thing that I didnt take off the front end was the engine and suspension lol Ill try and get some pictures up tonight, but when I took everything off, I found no hint of rust! Just a little bit of surface rust, but that was easily taken care of with some sand paper. Now I need to go crazy with some POR15 then start putting it back together. I bought a brand new condensor to put in, since the other was gone, but the radiator was still good. Now question, is it worth it to buy a new radiator and two new radiator hoses? I mean those are the original ones so being 13yrs old, they have seen their fair share of duty. So would it be worth it?

Yeah, I'd say it's definitely worth it.  A new rad should set you back less than $200, and hoses are less than $10 apiece.  If you're going to change your rad hoses, change the heater hoses as well (they rot out just the same as the rad hoses, and could blow out on you at any time.)

yeah its the '94 in my sig. I got into an accident with it. Someone cut in front me...

So right now as it sits in the garage, the whole entire front end is off it, both fenders, hood, bumper, rad. condensor etc etc. I just got done with some POR15 all round in there, and now I gotta get the panels off the other '94 I bought for all the parts so I can get them painted. But pretty much right now Im ready to start putting things together. Although I cant use the hood from the car, since it has rust on it, so I really do think Ill be going with a cowl hood!

Then once I get all of that together, hopefully I can get someone to swap the windshields on the cars. Since mine is trash.

Aww that brings back memories when I took the front end off my Sunfire.   Do you have any pics with the sheetmetal still on it?

Good luck with it Jay!

Just as an update, last night I finished the rear suspension! The ADDCO bar went in alot easier than I though it would! I also have atleast 1/2" clearance between the bar and the lateral link bolts, I also have atleast a 1/4" clearance between the bar and the struts! I got everything torqued to spec, except for the trailing arms at the knuckle. The sped is 192ft.lbs!!!!!!!! No wonder they were so hard to get off! lol But I think I have them at 150ftlbs. so I think thats good enough. I really dont see where you need anything that tight lol

Only thing I really have left to do is bolt the rear STB back on. Ill have some pics up tomorrow, but Im really hoping this bar works out and all the ADDCO ahrdware holds up! but I guess only time will tell!
