Ok, lately been checking my speedometer as I drive and noticed the other day it hangs up.  It will read 45 then I hit the gas and it stays a second then shoots to 50/ 55 depending on how fast I push it.  What's up??  Vehicle speed sensor maybe??

Digital or anolog gauges? If its the analog gauges, its prolly the cluster, it just uses little stepper motor things to raise and lower the speedo, it could be sticking or hanging up. if its digital, i duno, lol

I had that problem with my '92. It would do that when it was cold out, then it started doing it when it was warm, then it decided to just completely stop working. I disassembled the whole assembly and replaced the actual speedometer gauge.
