I'm sure it will look good! Personally I'd decided I don't want to bother with those (thought about it) I dunno guess I just like the smooth clean look without them. If I ever decide to get into bigger engine/racing I might just to let heat escape.

Is that a dent near the front of the hood, or is it a crease?
Can you easily transfer those louvers over onto your original hood?

its a minor crease......but i'm not at all comfortable transfering those louvers to my hood.....
plus the underside of the louvered hood is made for the louvers.....

have you checked under the hood insulation? the non Z34 lumina hoods have the area there for the louvers in the structure as well as the screw holes are there already.

the louvered hood doesn't have holes....the drip pan and louver screw together and create a seal around the hole in the hood....
besides, my hood i have on my car now is only 4 yrs old....i don't wanna hack it up....
i'll try and get pics sometime....

i'll try and get pics some time.....if not before its repainted, definatly afterward....
btw, the drip pans are metal, not plastic.....so i'll have those PC'd gloss black.
EDIT...
a local stealership quoted $840 to fix and repaint it......i laughed....it can't be that much.....
I can get new, unpainted louvers for $60 a piece.....not too bad.....
