Things that are wrong:

No heat
No A/C
No radio
No Power Steering
Power mirrors don't work
Driverside door leaks
No rearview mirror
Power locks don't work
Dash is fuxord
No windshield washer jets
Front driver 1/4 panel is fuxord
Front bumper broken and needs paint
Foglights don't work
MAF sensor not working
Trans is starting to slip
1 Torque converter bolt missing
Flexplate needs replaced
Broken bolt in alternator bracket
Broken armrest
Rear driver fender flare broken
5 spokes need new paint
No ABS
No second gear start
Blown struts

The good:
LG8 engine with 82k-ish miles
NO rust on the body
No dents or body damage
   -besides the fr dr 1/4
Good HUD
Good DIC
Great black leather interior

The only way I could justify keeping the car would be to use it as a track car only.
It is currently plated and insured. IF I do junk it, I would take the engine and black leather and put it in the TGP, and the TGP needs a new engine something fierce.

Another thing to consider is that this car is the first car I've ever owned. I've had it for 8 years now. The sentimental value in this car is unmeasurable and if I junk it, I don't know if I could forgive myself. It's had 5 different engines and 4 different trans.

Keep it. Keep it. Keep it. You can't replace your first car.

I can though... the Turbo Grand Prix pretty much did that already!

It's really why I let the 96 go to hell so quickly

There are so many upgrades for the TGP from that car. The entire braking system is an upgrade, the parking brake, seats, carpeting... all in better shape. A windshiled, driver side window motor that isn't missing a tooth. Not to mention the engine and exhaust. I could pull all of the b4u and paint it black to finish the swap that I started earlier this year. The TGP needs new doors because they are rusting out.

It's just a shame to waste a rust/dent free car. It really would be a good candidate for a track car.

its not a waste if you use the parts to save a better car. if you ask me the TGP was the king shit of its time, and to tear up a B4U car to save it is just what has to be done! lol

Jew everything you can and scrap it. I'm considering doing this to my Lumina that I used to DD. Put about $1,200 into the car into replacing everything in the braking system (right down to the bolts), performing a coilover swap, upgrading all the lighting to LEDs, new exhaust from the downpipe back, a bunch of bodywork and other miscellaneous upgrades; and then the fuel pump went. I'm probably going to strip and junk it. Then the only W I'll own is my '91 Euro (because I'm scrapping the other '92 also).

W-Bodies are the parts cars parts car the way I see it lol

grab what you need to make the TGP more WIN, sell off the rest of it via craigslist or forum classifieds.
