well I believe that is where my wire is hooked up sad

I will double check my wiring in the next few days... but it looks like we have the same problem...  the radio info is not an output of the radio.

any chance I could get scans of the info you have covering the radios including wiring info on the external cd changer as used in the aurora?

I will get that for you.  Do you want the BOSE wireing too?

The Cutlass Supreme and the Aurora BASE radios are the same wiring.  The CD changer is only like adding 5 wires (only 3 go to the radio).

cd changer and bose wiring would be nice.

in fact... I have the total bose wiring and everything from a 94 lumina z34(minus radio), but one of the rear speakers/subwolfers is bad.  if/when I find a replacement rear I'm tempted to use it in one of my verts... something that should prove interesting.

Just so you know, I called BOSE, and you can get a replacement speaker for only $40 from them.  The dealer wanted like $150

Sorry I took so long, but I finally got the wiring diagrams for you.  I had some problems with my scanner, and then went out of town, etc.

Anyways, here they are.

SWEET!  thanks!  I have also located a lumina with Bose, so i have two more rear speakers, the amp and some more wiring. I'll add those to my collection.   I also might grab a early type BOSE cd player.  looks like one they might have put in the 93 or 94 lumina, but with bose on it!!!  a friend thinks it is a camaro radio.

Probably is.  My Ex had a 1994 Camaro Z28 with bose.  It looked like a stock CD player.

It had the 2 knobs.

That was my first real experiance with the older BOSE.

With a Camaro radio, the display will be slightly cut off. If I am not mistaken, the only other 1.5 DIN Bose CD was in the Caprice & Roadmaster. I could be wrong though.

What is that out of?

I know that I saw an older Oldsmobile radio that was BOSE.  It was a CASSETTE, but it was in a 98 Regency.

I might have the face plat for it still somewhere.

The receiver was totally different, and each speaker had it own individual amp.  I got the radio, and the amps, but the speakers were gone.

that setup would have taken a lot more wiring to do, and I have never seen another older oldsmobile with it since.

shit.  i missed the radio at the yard.  it disappeared.

very interesting info on the french radio!

I know for certain that the AM frequencies are different(though I don;t know about the radio itself).  the US works on a "10" based system (ie  1500 1510 1520 1520) the euro specs on a "9" based  (ie 1503 1512 1521 1530)

IIRC, the FM frequencys over in Europe go in even # increments v.s. odd in North America (93.4, 93.6 over there; 93.5, 93.7* over here.)
