I'm thinking about designing a antenna for the GP....about 8-10" tall and have the Pontiac emblem at the top of it....

it will be about an 1/8" thick and of course, powdercoated black.

i'm drawing up a sketch now in autocadd.

what do you all think?...should i go through w/ it?

I'd like to shave mine clean off, have it hiding in the read window or something.  Power antennas seem like a PITA but better than a fixed antenna.

Check out a GoodGuys "magazine" (it's more like a huge mag full of ads.)  The companies that cater to the Street Rod crowd have a bunch of innovative stuff that could be easily integrated into a late-model car.  Hidden Antennas being one such product.

Wonder if there's an auto glass manufacturer that'll integrate an antenna into the rear defroster grid of an older vehicle (just like most of the GM's of the past 7-8 years have...)

our 03 SE has the antenna on the inside back window. It would be cool if you shaved it off your car, then had one on your window

My Regal has an antenna on the back AND front windows. tongue

And Adam, I think you should hide the antenna.  It'll be one less thing you have to wash around. smile
