I'm undecided as to whether it will be parts or not, It has a collapsed lifter, I was told. It does run and drive though.

Depending on the price, I think it's safe to say it's in too good a shape to relegate to a parts car!

Collapsed lifter shouldn't be too difficult to replace.  Just make like you're replacing your LIM.  Spin the motor over by hand (or bump the starter) when you have the LIM out and watch for the pushrod that won't move and there's your offending lifter.

Or you could always do a 3400 MPFI swap!
