lol dude, its all on the police officers rate of business that day, if its slow you could get a ticket from anything between modified exhaust, distraction of another drivers attention, misuse of a license plate... you arent allowed to have anything but white or amber coloured lights facing forward on your vehicle. doesnt stop idiots from driving around with blue turn signals or led lights on washer sprayers... (all illegal) basically what i am trying to say is this is like having a car with too much HP to make it street legal.there is just no way for them to test it on the side of the road, if the cop asked me if the lenses came with the lights i would say yes, then what? or, i dont know, they came with the car. (and ive yet to see an HID kit that came with lights)

all about discretion. i hate cops and legallity, so long as someone infront of your car isnt blinded by the lights and they arent stoopid colours it should be legal. its not like i want a whole string of christmas lights worth of colours up there. but i would love some red inner marker lights (behind the grill) buuuuuuuuut assholes will pull me over.

I had the eurolamps conversion kit in my 96 and then in my 91 w/ HID bulbs.
TruView are very good as was said and so are GE Nighthawks...they both are actually brighter, not that blue bullshit
You can also use HIR bulbs and they are brighter even than the TruViews and the Nighthawks

Nighthawks are good, for me the main issue seems to be keeping the healights themselves clean, its a pain in the ass when you drive down a freeway all day to get to work.

To give a perspective as to how bad my headlights are... I drove about halfway to pick up my brother (I guess roughly 7 miles each way?) before I realized I just had my parking lamps and fogs on... and it was pretty damn dark out too.
