Hi all, I am a noob here but have been over at w-body for quite some time.  I own a maui blue 93 Lumina Z34, it's a bad little car!:rocking:  Anyway, I'm currently at Sheppard AFB for school, and ran to the Shopette (think 7-11, QT, etc) on-base and they had a little bin with some cheap $5 tools.   I dig through it, mostly cheap test lights, nut drivers, etc.  when I found a 5/8 spark plug socket that was about 6 inches long! willynilly Anyway, this little thing perfectly fits the spark plugs on the holy LQ1 DOHC motor.  You only need to add a short 3-inch extension for it to fit down the hole!  And it does have the rubber piece inside so the plug won't fall out.

Just thought I'd throw this out there since I've never seen one by Craftsman, Snap-On, or any other tool maker.  I get paid tomorrow, and for $5 I'm thinking about buying up all of them and selling them on here and w-body.com.  I'll try and take a pic and throw it up here later.

sounds cool.  My biggest problem with the spark plugs on the twin cam is that the rubber holds the spark plug so tightly that the extensions come off before the spark plug releases.  Makes it a PITA sometimes to get all the plugs done.  That one would be easier to get ahold of.
