The Cutlass Supreme International was chosen to pace the Indy 500. 50 convertibles and 250 replicas were sold to the public. Most convertibles were recalled and destroyed.

The Cutlass Supreme was the first to offer a Heads Up Display.

The Cutlass Supreme was the first GM to use the 3100 V6 in 1993. 4028 were made.

The first 25,000 1992 Cutlass Supremes used a real oil pressure gauge rather than a dummy gauge. The remainder of the 3.4 cars through the model year kept this feature, the 3.1 cars did not.

The first 1995 Cutlass Supremes built were all pilot models built in May of 1994. Most of these had Magnasteer (RPO NV7) regardless of engine and HUD (RPO UV6). At least 1 seems to have slipped through the cracks and landed in Germany of all places, a Dark Teal Metallic and tan convertible. Even the Fairfax cars with early VINs were pilots built in May. HUD was not added as an option in 1995 for some reason.

Lip spoilers (RPO D81) and accompanying taillights (RPO T93) were only on 1992-1993 Internationals, 1993-1995 3.4 convertibles, 1994-1996 3.4 coupes and 1997 coupes.

1995 Doraville production ended on 6-16-1995.

1995 Fairfax production started on 2-2-1995 and ended 8-15-1995.

The last convertible to leave Doraville was VIN 1G3WT32X1SD364789 and it was white with a black top and graphite leather interior. It was produced on 2-15-1995.

Production of the white interior in convertibles was started in 1-94.

The last 34742 Cutlass Supremes produced at the Doraville plant were sedans.

The first 1106 Cutlass Supremes produced at the Fairfax plant were sedans.

The Cutlass Supreme was the only first-generation W-Body to get a convertible, also the only first generation W-Body to get Electronic Climate Control.

-Work in progress.

ill be sure to take some pictures for ya.

around alberta Gen1 Ws arent really cream of the crop for cars in peoples minds. they all seem to end up on indian reserves or owned by some welfare recipient who also uses the back seat as a toilet. it really is kind of sad.

Grand prix are kids and younger adults (males mostly for the B4Us and GTs) sometimes middle aged women drive the coup base model.

AND HEY i thought we werent allowed to CHANGE the quote! i just cut off the end of the last one i submitted and u got all whiny, here you are droppin the face to face thing out.

LOL well heres the explanation to it then, the few people ive met who have owned Z34s, one was trying to get his fifth wheel in his pickup installed behind the rear axle because of his tool box AND fuel tank. (not gonna happen) and he got all pissy with our company and while taking off out of our parking lot shot a bunch of sand at my car while burning his tires.

another was an older guy (like 40s) looked like a junky, and was smoking with the windows rolled up (smoking is gross enough, no need to hot box a cigarette) and his was making HORRIBLE noises

the next two are kind of the same sort of douche. they both have parts cars for sale, and want well over $1000 for them... one of them is even an AUTO!!! like WTF.

Douchebags around here seem to flock to 97-03 GP GTP's, riced-out Civics, and Eclipses.  Fat chicks typically drive Cavaliers, Neons, and Grand Ams.  Grandpas drive Grand Marquises and Park Avenues (too obvious, but the stereotype definitely fits!)  Old ladies drive Camcords and Centurys.  Arrogant yuppie fucks drive Acuras and Infinities.  Dirty treehugger hippies drive Corollas (or as I call them, "Crapolas.")

Regarding 94-96 GP B4U's, every now and then I'll come across someone in a non-GTP B4U (SE with the L82) that drives their car like a ricer.  I always chuckle when the extra 25 ponies of my mighty LA1 kick in and leave them in the dust. lol

a non GTP B4U I guess would be mine then? And I don't drive like a moron. Every once in a while I have to put it to the floor to pull out of the parking lot at work or out of my street onto the main, but I don't really like doing that.

I'd say the only thing that makes my SE different than a GTP has to be that I don't have the 3.4. I think mine has about every factory option.

Yeah, those are the cars I'm talking about.  The L82 is the early 3100 with the smaller intake runners, and the LQ1 is the 3.4 TDC.  For some reason unbeknown to me, some drivers of those cars think they're fast.  Hell, I'm embarrassed to say this, but when I had my 95 GP (L82) I got spanked by a riced out Civic.  Well not really "spanked" per se, but he managed to pull ahead of me by a car length when the 3100 ran out of breath on the top end. oops  He probably had NAWS, but whatever.  It was still embarrassing...
