I'm new here so I apologize if this is posted in the wrong area.

I've had a few W's in my lifetime including 5 Regal coupes, 2 GP coupes, 1 Lumina Euro coupe, 1 Monte Z34, a Cutlass Supreme sedan and my current '94 coupe. I also own a '95 Grand Am SE coupe 3100 V6 with 81,000 actual miles.

My question regards the color of my '94 Cutlass Supreme SL Coupe. I bought it from the original owner and it currently has 67,000 actual miles on the clock. The problem is the lady was rear ended by a pickup truck, she choose to buy it back from the insurance company and proceeded to put a darker blue trunklid on it after it had been bashed in and left the cracked bumper cover replaced the back up light panel and one tail light. She later decided purchase a new Buick and sold me the Cutlass. I've looked for the paint code in the creases of both doors, no luck, thought it might have been under the trunk lid alias it is a different trunk lid so that won't be much help.

Here are a couple pics.

Thanks in advance for your help.

Your paint code is on the SPID label which is on the spare tire cover (unless that was replaced as well) under the trunk mat.

It SHOULD be 23 Light Cloisonne Blue Metallic.

Nice looking car and welcome!

Yeah def. isn't a color I see a lot, seen it in my neck of the woods maybe twice, once on a Cutlass sedan and once a Cutlass convert. Not why I bought it of course, bought it because of the low miles and it was always serviced at the Olds now Chevy dealership. Plus I was sick of the 3800 in my '96 Regal coupe leaking oil and coolant.

3100s seem to be a stand up engine, I've had plenty of them. lol Only problem I've ever had with one was my '96 GP SE coupe blew the engine at 84,000 a week after I got it, guessing the previous owner thought it was a hotrod seeing how it had dual Borlas on it. The bald tires on the front and excellent tires on the rear should have clued me in that they probably drove the piss out of it, but I was caught up in the moment and it was black.

Oh yeah probably not the place for it, but since I've already started a thread I might as well ad this.

My other car 1995 Grand Am SE 3100 with 80,000 actual miles also bought from the original owner, but from Madison, Wisconsin.
I occasionally show this car. Won 1st place last year in my class over a 97 Firebird 30th Anniversary and 2nd place in my class this year beating out a '97 red Camaro Z28 t-top car, first place went to a '98 black T/A.

My mom's W-body, 1988 Buick Regal Custom 2.8 with the GS package auto on the floor with 140,000 miles still pretty mint other than a small fat lip in the rear bumper cover due to a rear ending. She purchased it brand new with a little over 300 miles. This car is a near indestruable car. When she's done with it I plan on using it for a demo car. Whenever, that may be. lol

thats not too bad of a regal, too bad it didnt have the 3800!! wink lol and yeah they dont stop for anything short of a dead impact. since mine was hit by a hit-n-run driver and lost half its front bumper and stuff, i decided to get a new one... while i wait mine is my anything car. from a pusher car to a ramming car, to a wood hauling car (on the roof and hood) man, my car goes thru hell right now and keeps on ticking. it was hit first in january... when it was 5000km over its oil change.... i still havent changed it. hahaha infact im not even sure its oil hits the dipstick anymore. lol im kinda trying to kill it.

i hear ill have my lumina this week. wink
