Some things to keep in mind when posting/hanging around the forum:
(these are not rules, just general information that you should consider on any and all forums you visit smile)

1.    Please use punctuation and well structured sentences to whatever extent possible. It is easier to read and understand your problem (and solution) if it's.... well, if it's easier to read.

2.   If you put large and/or numerous pictures in a thread, please attach a 56k warning to the thread title. Not all of us are on broadband wink

3.    Do not contact forum staff by Private Messenger eMail or Instant Messenger to ask a technical question. All such questions should be posted in Forum/Site Problems section. We will not respond to questions posed "off line".

4.    Please do not post links to competing web sites unless it is an integral part of your response to a question in a thread.

5.    You can resurrect any thread on the forums, as long as the resurrection isn't just to say "lol".

6.    Any usernames older than 7 days that have 0 posts will be deleted. You are more than welcome to re-register & come back.

7.    Don't troll. What is a troll? It's a person who posts something which is bound to stir people up and then sits back and watches as dozens of people jump in and start arguing. A troll can also be someone that breaks the rules intentionally or just plain out annoys people just to be annoying. Sometimes trolls get their friends to join in or post under different names. Generally they will do anything it takes to get attention. If you see a message like this, please try and refrain from replying to it - it may well be deleted anyway. posting over and over and over again in a thread with no replies can also be considered trolling.

8.    Use our internal forum search function. Most questions have been asked and answered already and it's very likely you can save yourself some time (and pick up a few good ideas) by going through related threads. Always click "Search" before clicking "New Thread."

9.    Respect the guidelines for forum usage, and site usage. Respect the website, its employees, volunteers, yourself, fellow community members, and guests on these boards. Whether a community member has one post or 5,000 posts, they deserve the same respect.

10.    Everyone is entitled to their own opinions, whether their opinion is wrong or not

11.    All posts and posters must respect the integrity of the site.

12.    Personal Attacks and Flames will not be tolerated. If you want to praise or criticize, give examples as to why it is good or bad, general attacks on a person or idea will not be tolerated

13.    Responses to a particular thread should be on-topic and pertain to the discussion. Users should use the New Topic button to start a new discussion which would otherwise be off-topic in the current thread. Threads that are off topic may be closed by the admin/mod.

14.    Sometimes, a discussion thread strays off into a friendly dialogue or a heated debate among a very small number of users. For these exchanges, use the PM system. Public forum posts should be reserved for matters of interest to the general community.

15.    Posting the same message to many topics or boards is considered spam. Duplicate messages will be deleted or consolidated by our moderators. Please do your best to post new topics to the appropriate forum board, moderators will punch you in the face for spamming.

16.    Commercial Postings/Solicitations are not allowed.

17.    One username per person, there is no reason for having more than one account. If you want your name changed or anything about your account modifyed, please contact an Admin.

18.    Try not to edit older posts as often as possible, simply make a new post; or if need be edit the post and make a new post so the thread gets bumped. This is so we actually know there is new content in the thread. Without a new post, nobody will know about the edited post because it will not show up as "New" in the forum index.

19.    Please, just use common sense.

20.    Respect the administration. The forum Moderators are community volunteers that give up their time to help build a better community. They will assist with focusing topics and enforcing guidelines. They have the ability to edit/delete posts, to move, close or delete topics, and to temporarily moderate users' posts. They also have the power to ban your ass if you piss them off. Our moderators are equipped with Kevlar flak jackets and an unlimited supply of .357 ammo. Do not attempt to engage them in direct combat.

Disclaimer: Any messages you post will stay available to the public for as long as this discussion board is online. Please post carefully, once you have posted your message it is here to stay. We will not edit the content you wrote unless it does not conform to the forum rules. If we edit a post and you do not like the changes, you can meet the editing member of the administration staff in a dark alley for your IDB raping
