awesome write up and used it step by step yesterday, damn airbags scare the shit out of me sometimes.

one question for those who may know
the old switch had a connector with nothing extra in it, the new one had four new wires coming out of the connector with a small black plug on the end. Any idea what this could have been for? the car was a 95 Lumina LS with nothing special other than CC on the steering column, no steering wheel radio controls or anything like that.
