I am heading out to do a 2 week road trip down the oregon coast and then californian coast and back up the I5 to canada. I have seen the new mercedes cabriolet has an air cocoon that has a feature that electronically raises a piece of metal that spans the length of the windshield to rise about 4-6 inches into the air above the windshield that makes the air have to pass at a higher level so the people in the back seats feel that annoying wind at the back of their heads. It's headache creating after a while.

Is there any ideas or has anyone found a way to reduce/eliminate the back draft for the rear passengers in my 1995 olds cutlass supreme convertible for long 8 hour days of wind pummeling the back of your head at interstate speeds this 2 week trip?

Any help would be warmly welcomed!....thanks in advance!!.....kim.

lol, that is what I was thinking.

Tell them to stop being pussies, and to wear a hat if they don't want to mess up their hair.

I,ve owned my vert for just over 2 years now, but since I'm the only one to be in the car, I've not had that problem.:lol Only thing I can think of is the companies that make the side window vent shades also make a deflector for cars with a sun roof. Maybe one of those could be adapted to the top of the windshield frame? roll Just a thought. dunno
