Lucky bastard and your warm weather. I drove in freezing rain and snow yesterday. First time I really took advantage of my remote start was this morning.

Hah, it wasn't in my car. It was the company minivan ('95 Voyager). Its got relatively new tires on it at least, not snow tires though. Plus the ABS system is disabled.

you only run snow tires in the front, thats kinda dangerous, lol, theres a reason tire places wont put them on for you like that. Second you hit the brakes on ice, the fronts grab, the rears slip and suddenly your going backwards....
On debadging, I like cars with no door badging, just on the trunk.

oh, braking on ice is ok. its the cornering they warn you about. the tires cant hold as much sideways g force as the winter tires, so it causes the back end to slide like that. i dont drive my wannabe red ferarri like mario andretti. how long you been drivin? personally i hate FWD and hate it worse in the winter. i would take a near bald tired chevy caprice right now in trade in a second!

I try not to take corners too hard in my Euro because the oil pressure drops to 0 and my oil light comes on
