it does not rub at all.  I have the Grand Prix FE3 2.25 steering rack in there.  No rub, so it is all good.  It DID rub VERY SLIGHTLY when I had the Cutlass Supreme FE3 2.75 steering rack in there, but the 2.25 fixed it.

The Bonneville wheels are 16 X 7, but also, the 1995+ Grand Prix (might be 1994, but when they redid the exterior) those are also 16 X 7.  The 16 X 8 were only on the B4U Grand Prixs from 1989 (TGP) to 1993.

Jay, after fixing the freeze plug (I had a shop do it when the temp one went out on me in town) I have not had any real issues.

Only things going on is oil leak from the rear cam carrier (where the carrier meets the head), needs 1 more spring pad (can't get it in, and have not had time to deal with it).  The AC compressor needs to be replaced (the bearing whines REALLY bad, but the AC still works).  Also the top needs to be re-stapled in on the passenger side.  It got pulled out when the top frame broke.

It is all minor things (other than the oil leak), but it is not so bad.  I put maybe 2 quarts in the car every 3 weeks.

lol, yes, but I didn't fix that.  I had Aaron do it.  LOL.

Well, I think my Cutlass is jealous of me spending so much time on the Lincoln.  Yesterday, one of my heater pipes blew out.  I got it fixed now, but it was a rough couple of days.

My Blazer is kind of getting the same way. I've been spending a lot of time on the van lately - 35 mpgs is much better than 20 mpgs - and Lori needed the van today so I took my Blazer. It's throwing a VSS code now, speedo works fine so it's either the ECM or DRAC. I have a spare DRAC but can't find it, of course.
