Wanting to know how you guys would plug a hole in your car. TO be specific, how would I go about plugging the hole for the antenna. I am going to move my antenna to the roof, a la 04ish GP, except above the back window, not the windshield.

What materials will I need? Is this something I can do at home?

EDIT: Here's the antenna in question. This is the best pic I could find, believe it or not. THe natenna is the little nub above the windshield. I dont know if this is the AM/FM antenna or an XM antenna. Im not so sure its an XM one as a friend of mine has an 05 GT with this antenna, and she doesn't have XM on board as even an option.

If I'm not mistaken that's the OnStar antenna on that GP.  All newer GM cars that have AM/FM antenna have a regular long kind, Cobalt/minivans come to mind.  With the exception of the Wave/Aveo, those have rubber antenna about a foot long.  The XM radio antenna are very small, they actually look like a little square cube thing.  All the small 3 inch are OnStar.  The rest (like my Impala) are built into the glass (FTW).

Easiest way to plug the hole is FIBERGLASS.  You just have to make sure you are careful.

If you do the fiberglass, you are going to have to paint the fender (or at least the area where you did the patch).

I am going to be doing something similar to my cars, but I will plug the hole right before I send the car in to paint.
