Ok so I'm new and I thought this would make for a good topic. The pin on the passenger-front of the convertible top doesn't reach all the way to the hole in the windshield frame. So I have to push forward on the top while pressing the up button so the pin goes in.

I went to a convertible top shop and the guy told me that the arm on that side could be adjusted to be a little longer. I think this would help greatly, but I don't know how to do it?!!!

Can anyone help?

You will have to remove the upholstery panel on the affected side, which will also require you to remove the rear seats. You will then notice four bolts holding the top to the body in slotted holes. If you loosen these bolts and and latch the top to the header you will have adjusted the fore and aft of the top. Caution: mark the lateral position of the frame (side to side) if this is out too far the sail window could loose its weatherstripping because it will be too snug to the rear window. I have the shop manuals that detail this procedure but don't have access to them at this moment. If you would like I can scan the pages and send them to you. Being new I am not aware of the size limitations on posts.
