Hey Jay.  Does that CD changer work?  Or is that one of the mystery items?  I might hook that up in the morning when I have the dash apart.

I have no idea.........Mystery item.

I don't even know what all I threw in the boxes and such...I figured maybe you could find a better use for it all than I.

I tried out that cd changer.  It powers up, and finds the discs, but when you try to play something, it just says ERR.  Also, my radio does not have the cutout signal wire so the radio stays playing.  It is still really cool though.

I also fixed the top, put the analog cluster back in, and wired up the DIS.  I just finished getting everything back together and it started raining.

For a more permanent replacemet/fix of the hydraulic ram ends I used heim joints as they were stronger being made of aluminum and they have spherical joints on the end for flexibility. I have yet to break one yet and I went through a half a dozen of those pot metal factory ends.

with that amout of K on it, you should pull the heads off, do the gaskets. and while theyre off fix the oil pump drive seal. a chevy short block 350? distributer gasket will fit near perfectly from what i hear.
