I really want to put 255 width tires on the rear of my car!

I wonder if there is anything out there that is identical to our 5 stars that is wider than 7"?????

That is a 16 x 8" rim. I wonder how close that looks to actual stock

Here is a stock grand prix 16 x 7"

If they were identical besides width I could use 2 of my GP wheels and put 245/50/16 on the front and get 2 transam wheels and put 255's on the rear. Sounds pretty silly, i should get get all 4 transam wheels

I don't think they are 5 x 115. I think they are 5 x 4.75 or 5 x 120.65

ALL F-BODIES are 5x4.75 regardless of year,  from 1967-2002.  whole production run.  no if's,  ands,  or buts.  same with corvettes.

the rims are somewhere in the 6.25" backspacing area,  could potentially work with a 1" thick bolt circle adapter but one would have to take very careful measurements to ensure not wasting money.

i disagree. some f-body vechicles are 5x115... 97+ w guys are using F-body ROTORS with no modifaction (for the 12" brake upgrade)

That's because the rotors are made for fit both bolt patterns.....  The holes are oblonged slightly so they can do this.

yup - the rotors either have oblong holes or another set of them.

you can disagree all you want,  but it's just not true.
