To be quite honest, I am not sure just how accurate the w-body.com "database" is...I've noticed a few things wrong.

Search the W-body board. People have confirmed that they had 34mm sway bars on their B4U'd 3100 powered GP's.
I know for a fact my '93 SE(FE1 originally) had a 28mm front bar stock and the small rear bar(I've never measured the rear, but it appeared to be 12mm or so...I'll dig it out of storage tomorrow and look). My '90 TGP has a 30mm bar up front like the article above states..and once again, I haven't measured the rear on that one either....but I will tomorrow. I'll also measure the bars on some Euro's at the junkyard to see what they have, there are plenty of 3.1 Euros there...

not all B4U cars got the large bar. I have seen SEVERAL at the yard that had the middle bar (when I was looking for a front bar for my 1988 Cutlass Supreme).
Once you get into the older years, it is hard to find.
Also, not all cars came with a rear bar. My 1988 was one of them.
Last thing, sometimes the RPO code does not mean anything. My pink car has the large REAR bar, but it is an SE sedan with the 3100. RPO code is FE1.
Thing that most people seem to forget is that despite GM wanting to SIMPLIFY things, people would still go in there and PICK and CHOOSE their options.
I have seen Cutlass Supreme SL's (1988-1991) coupes that had the full international INTERIO, but a BASE exterior (even down to the 14 inch wheels). I have also seen 1988-1991 Cutlass Supreme SL's with a complete international EXTERIOR, but had a BASE interior. Suprised me to see an international with crank windows, manual locks, and a bench seat.
Same applies to the suspensions. Some people would want something, but the dealer would cut corners to save money. Not all cars came equipped the same way. If they did, there would be a LOT less upgrading going on out there.

common misconception is that FE3 means the 34mm bar.
There are 2 smaller bars. the FE1 is HOLLOW, but the FE3 is SOLID.
Look at the end of the bar at the wheel. if it is HOLLOW, then it is the LOW bar.
If it has a small dip at the end, but it is solid, then it is an FE3 bar.
That solid bar is what went in the FE3 cars with the 2.8/3.1/3100
The 34mm bar was only used in the cars with the HEAVY engine (3.4 DOHC, and 3800)
