Whats the issue with the exsisting monoleaf setup? Dont corvettes use it too?

with RWD and less weight would be my guess. i dont think its too bad, but better is better, the NEW z06, whats under there? even the new trucks are starting to get away from leaf suspension (try putting a fifth wheel in a new ram 1500) lol its possible, but a pain in the ass!

The factory leafs sag after a while, and have the potential to break. I replaced mine with a Flex-A-Form leaf, and that broke (I have pictures of it snapped). I replaced that with a steel birchmount leaf. I don't think that one will break any time soon.

theres a company here in Edmonton (probably at least one per major city) that makes leaf springs, if you provide an expample of the shit ass fiber glass ones from our cars, they can copy it in steel too. stiffer, lower... whatever.
