i've been around your site and read the stickys.would a simple two bag system work on the rear of my 90 regal? no bells or whistles, just a basic system.i am unable to find any open discussion of the project. it's just a beater-but the rear is just way to high. pull the leaf and bag it.

There are cheaper, easier, and better ways to lower these cars than going with bags.

it would be ALOT of work to bag it, the strut towers (or their equivalent) arent strong enough to support the weight without a good amount of support

Wow you have the opposite issue most Wbody people have. The rear end is TOO high. most of the time the monoleaf gets all saggy and the ass ends of the cars nearly sit on the ground, lol. most people would love to be in your situation, lol

It was a common myth that the strut towers couldn't handle the load, but it's been dis-proven by all the guys running coilovers.

from personal experiance, 1988-1993 can't handle coilovers in the rear for long term. !994 is hit or miss. 1995+ don't seem to have issues.
I had lots of pics on my old laptop, but it fried, so nothing I can prove it with. I have never seen a 1988-1993 last more than 2 years with coilovers.
Would I ever do a coilover swap in my car? Sure. Right after my sex change.
