So all of a sudden my 04 is making all sorts of weird noises, started off as a clunk that would appear with the slightest bit of steering wheel movement left or right (but only once, you could turn it all the way to bump stop both ways and it would only clunk once in each direction, right when you started moving the wheel). Now tonight when i try to video the clunk all it does is squeal essentially, i got it pretty good on video for a change its uploading now. Not a loud belt type squeal but a quiet rubbing kinda squeal. This all started today and at first i was thinking Intermediate shaft, but now with it changing from the thunk to a squeal im thinking it could be more rack related.
Now the thunk was happening even at driving speed, change lanes and get a thud. So it isnt just a, well your tires aren't moving noise.
I called the dealership and enquired about how much to replace the Int. shaft, and they said probably around $400...
Now for my dumb question... where the hell is the power steering reservoir on the L67. Cant for the life of me see the cap anywhere.

I know on the 3400 on the 03 it was right up top and visible by the alternator, but i haz a blower in the way... its not under the snout is it?
I will get the video up right away and let me know what you guys think, this bugs me but unlike my ford i will spend the money to get shit fixed on this car
