Well, because my front sway bar decided to break off at the end, I decided to skip with a stock replacement, and get the GM Performance Parts handling kit.  It was only a $45 difference ($130 v $175) so I went with it. I got the kit a week ago today, but I had to wait until last night to put it on (open shop night).

Here's the GMPP handling kit.

Hmmmmmmm......

Old bar next to the new GMPP front bar.

This picture shows how much beefier the end is on the GMPP sway bar.

All the old stuff I took off.

I didn't take pictures of the trailing arm/rear swaybar install because it installed so fast (I had my roommate helping me at this point) and by the time I remembered the wheels were back on and the car was on the ground.

As far as the feel goes, I really haven't had a chance to corner hard yet. It's a pretty lame drive back and forth to work, and that's all I've driven so far. lol

That's what i should've done.  My sway bar broke a month or two ago...

Although I had mine fixed under warranty, so I doubt I'd get them to cover that.

It took me about 3 hours to put everything on except the RSTB (which I still haven't put on).   I work at a Mercedes-Benz dealer, it's not too bad of a shop.  It's just old.

It's funny, I've never even heard of a sway bar breaking on these until I saw mine starting to break about a month ago. And now it seems it's a very common problem for northern cars...

Yes, the trailing arms are rusty, my rear control arms arn't much better.  But those are the only things on my car that are that rusty. lol

I have gotten to hit a few decent corners in it now and it is a very nice change.  Much more stable in even slight corners.

i broke the sway bar in my 1985 nissan pulsar nx... it had a skid plate... that makes it a rally car, right? lol well thats how i saw it... plus the car was free. hahaha so i shit-bagged it on every dirt road and parkinglot i could, ebrake slides, ebrakestands, reverse donuts, then one day i got this rattle when i cornered at like 60k+ so i put the car on a hoist, and saw i snapped the drivers side clean off of it. i made a couple holes in the A-arm or whatever, and slid a U-bolt over it and welded the fucker down... never heard it make a noise since. lol (then i blew the tranny seal and tried to blow the motor in neutral and couldnt) heh damn nissan motors.

Yeah, I never heard of them breaking until mine broke.  I limped it home and started searching because I thought I had broken an end link, so I was lookin to see how to replace it...turns out the actual sway bar breaking was a very common occurance, so I was like damn...
