Hey, found out that my brakes on the GP were 51k mile originals lol.  So, this  maintenance opportunity I'm going to turn into a mod opportunity.  Anybody here have any upgrades? I really don't want to fork out the shit-ton more for the F-body upgrade, so maybe some 12" fronts with ceramics?  What do you guys think?

Get the BAER upgrade kit for 2G W-Bodies!  Yeah, I know they cost a "shit-ton," but think about what you'd spend on a set of drilled/slotted stock replacement rotors and a good set of pads.  I dropped $300 alone on 4 Raybestos PG Plus rotors for the Impaler, and they weren't even drilled or slotted!

slotted rotors and ebc pads.  honestly id just save up or piece together the f-body kit or c-body if youre going to change the wheels.  if it needs pads right now, you can just put some cheap wherever silvers on tilll you can get the f-body stuff.

you also could get some stainless steel brake lines as well. I know when Im getting new brakes ( soon ) I was quoted 128 for fronts and 106 for rears, all slotted rotors by SP performance rotors, then about 120 for the 4 stainless steel brake lines on the car. So not that bad. Im sure your rotors would be just as cheap from this place. and yeah discostudd, I hear ya on the raybestos stuff! expensive as hell!
