If we get enough info, thought this could be in a FAQ or something.

Anyways I'll start:

88-? GP SE coupe: (premium sound) has 4x6 in dash and doors, 6x9 rear

94-96 GP coupe: 5.25" (and seperate tweeter) in doors, 6x9 rear

No, the cars with the upgraded audio system didnt get the dash speakers because of the 4 tweeters

What years Cutlass got the 5.25s in the doors?  Obviously something-97.  Didn't they have 4" in the dash or something in earilier models?

As far as 1st gens go, woun't they all have 6x9 in the rear?  I don't have a clue about 2nd gen but I'd assume the same??

95-96 Regal coupes have 5 1/4's in the doors (with a separate tweeter mounted directly above) and 6X9's in the rear.

Here's a shot of the wimpy 5 1/4" "Concert Sound II" setup in the front doors:

Here's a close-up of the speaker pod removed from the car:

After fabbing up a set of custom plates, you can then easily upgrade to a set of 6 1/2" separates:

They fit perfectly under the grilles in the door panel without modifications...

Okay.  My 1990 STE CAME with 6.5 rounds in the doors.  I BOUGHT 5.25 rounds (the Stealership said it was 5.25 rounds), but when I went to install them, they were not even close to fitting.  The STE gets STOCK 6.5 rounds in the front doors, tweeters in the front, and rear doors, and 6X9's in the rear deck.

Say what you want.  My 1996 Grand Prix had the 5.25 in the doors, but the 1990 STE has 6.5's

Here is some more for you.

1988-1994 Cutlass Supreme's with the 4 speaker system get 4 inch rounds in the dash, and 6X9's in the rear deck.

If a 1988-1994 gets the DOOR speakers, then the DASH speakers are replaced with TWEETERS (usually, if it has door speakers the dash will be tweeters, but I have seen some at the yard with door speakers, and the dash still had the 4 inch rounds).

The DOOR speakers in the 1988-1994 Cutlass Supreme are 4x6's

The rear speakers on all the 1988-1994 Cutlass Supreme's are 6X9's
