Yup!...finally decided to go ahead and put some bumps in my trunk!...big thanks to Chris (slick) for giving me lots of good info, and hopefully he'll be helping me with the install & fine tuning, since he's the expert!...i'm getting:

what's the size of the box you are getting ,when slick discrive it i thought it was a bit to big ,but he is the expert as you say lol.

Ive owned one sealed box, and hated it. Ever since then Ive had ported! and Ill always have ported. I love the way it sounds. Especially with a good sub! Ive heard other subs in sealed, I just wasnt impressed all that much.. but thats just me!

ive never had a ported box but i love how sealed boxes sound.  bandpass boxes are fucking worthless though.  my camaro has cheap-ass subs open-air and they hit pretty damn good probably because of the rear glass

yeah, my last box was ported.. a 1 12".  now i have 2 10"s that aren't as powerful, but i love them compared to the 12"
