i currently have a 7 year old Pioneer DEH-P77DH.  i really like it, although it quit playing CD about a year ago.  i want to replace it but i don't want to go with a 1 DIN stereo.  1.5 DIN looks so much better IMHO.  is Pioneer going to upgraded the P77DH any time soon?  are there any other 1.5 DIN stereos anyone can recommend?  it must be iPod compatible and 1.5 DIN, that's really all i care about.  so far it's looking like i'm going to buy another P77DH.  i can't believe they have been selling them so long.

I got a new one at a local shop in Houston for about $200.

I stuck it in my 1990 Grand Prix STE.

My only complaint is that it lights up GREEN instead of RED like the rest of the interior.

Josh I have one P77DH lying around here without a use, if you are interested in a used unit let me know, I can be convinced to part with it.

It's too bad there aren't any "new" 1.5 DIN decks.  Seems like companies just stopping designing new ones.  I have a 6 year old 1.5 DIN Sanyo that needs replaced.  I'll have to go 1 DIN to get the features I want.

Good luck with P77 I've heard they are good decks.

ive got a taiwanese friend who imports cars, electronics, wheels and parts from asia... he gets some WILD prices on stuff... 2DIN decks for like $100 and stuff. (but he sells em for arround 300 - 400 or more sometimes) he got a rebuilt (mechanicly) Nissan GT-R for just over 12,000 (pretty damn good for canada) thats what i want to modify my dash for, or just install it in the glovey, and call it a day.
